So does anyone convert their videos to play on the xbox 360, ipod and so on?
What are the best programs you have used?
If you never converted a video file to play on your xbox 360, ipod, android and so on and are interested in doing so....

Ask away here cause I know a lot about video converting video and I have some programs that work great.
Quality depends on the codec you're using and limits of the device you are putting a movie file to.
For example the 360 can only read external hard drives in fat 32 which only supports like 4 Gigs.

I just found out a little piece of software called XenonMKV. Using it as I speak. Will be back with the results later.

Ok it does what it's suppose to do but It seems to lose video quality. I think it might be the codec being used.... There is a slider to increase quality so I will try that real soon and see how that goes.

To put it simple, you know more about that stuff than I d my friend.

Seems that the quality does increase but you can play the audio. It's a cool way to convert a video from mkv to mp4 to play on the 360 but I think it still lacks in quality.
